Precautions for using an asphalt distributor truck:

(1) After each operation or when changing work sites, the asphalt pump and pipelines must be cleaned; otherwise, the truck will not be able to operate again.

(2) Before spraying, always check that all valves are in the correct position. The hot asphalt added to the tank must reach a working temperature of 160-180℃. For long-distance transport or extended working periods, a heating device can be used for insulation, but it cannot be used as a melting furnace.

(3) The asphalt tank should not be filled too full, and the filler cap must be tightly closed to prevent asphalt spillage during transport.

(4) When heating the asphalt in the tank with a burner, the asphalt level must exceed the upper plane of the combustion chamber; otherwise, the combustion chamber will be burned.

(5) If the asphalt pump and pipelines are blocked by solidified asphalt, do not force the pump to rotate. A blowtorch can be used to heat the blockage, but direct heating of the ball valves and rubber parts should be avoided.

(6) When starting to spray asphalt, start slowly and keep the truck moving at a low speed. Do not accelerate suddenly to avoid damaging components such as the clutch and asphalt pump.
