Attention for driving a hook lift garbage truck

2025-07-16 15:46:07

1. Before loading garbage, the hook lift garbage truck should be run empty to reach 6 standard air pressures. Only then can the power take-off (located below the steering wheel on the left side in the driver’s cabin) be engaged. After checking for any leakage or abnormality in all components, operate according to the instructions on the operation sign. Generally, do not adjust the pressure of the pressure regulating valve, as it has been set properly before leaving the factory.

2. The weight of the garbage in the garbage compartment should not exceed the vehicle’s allowable range. Otherwise, excessive pressure during loading may cause damage to hydraulic components. In severe cases, it may lead to oil leakage, clutch disc slippage, and even clutch burnout.

3. Before loading the garbage container of the hook arm garbage truck, ensure that the longitudinal beam of the container is located between the rear rollers of the sub-frame. Make sure that the longitudinal center axis of the vehicle coincides with that of the container. If not, adjust the vehicle’s position.

4. When loading the garbage container of the hook garbage truck, you can appropriately increase the throttle according to the weight of the garbage collected in the container to ensure that the garbage container can be smoothly lifted and loaded.

5. After completing the operation, turn off the electromagnetic clutch switch in time to ensure that the electromagnetic clutch is in the off state. It is particularly important to note that when the vehicle is turned off, the electromagnetic clutch should also be in the off state. Otherwise, it will consume a large amount of battery power, leading to a dead battery and preventing the vehicle from starting normally.
