Many customers have always had a vague definition when choosing between a street sweeper and a road sweeper. Which one to choose? The two vehicles look similar, but there are differences between a street sweeper and a road sweeper.
I. In terms of functional application
Sweeping trucks are specialized vehicles for road surface sweeping and suction operations; while sweeping and washing trucks can be used as sweeping trucks for road surface sweeping and suction operations alone; they can also be used as high-pressure water flushing trucks for road surface flushing and suction operations; and they can also combine road surface sweeping and suction with high-pressure water flushing as sweeping and washing trucks, providing multiple combination options for sweeping, flushing, and washing.
II. In terms of usage features
The water tank of a sweeper truck is small and it uses a low-pressure water pump. During sweeping, water is only used for misting to suppress dust. Some stubborn garbage, such as dry soil stuck to the ground, cannot be swept away or sucked up by the brush! A street sweeper truck has a larger water tank and uses a high-pressure water pump. During sweeping, the road surface is first washed with high-pressure water, and even the most stubborn garbage can be directly flushed up. Then, the garbage is collected by suction sweeping to achieve a better cleaning effect. In simpler terms, a street sweeper truck is equipped with an additional high-pressure water pump, has a larger water tank, and a more powerful auxiliary engine than a sweeper truck.
